Talent Education As a young man, Dr. Shinicki Suzuki was asked to give violin lessons to a four year old. The realization that all children can learn to speak their native language was epiphany: all children have a huge, inborn talent! He uncovered key elements of the learning process and applied them to violin instruction. His success was so extraordinary that many teachers began to use his ideas in their own teaching. Presently the Suzuki method is taught worldwide and is applied to a variety of instruments. |
