Testimonials:
"Having heard some of Elan's concerts and earliest recordings in the 1970's, I must say that while Elan's technical abilities were already developed long ago, he has found other ways of continuing to grow. He notes that Gurdjieff and Hartmann used to collaborate on their composing in front of a group of ATTENTIVE people. Elan as well, in his performances, has often had schooled audiences of unusually attentive people. This subtle advantage makes a real difference and should be better recognized!"

Excerpt from Robert Fripp's Diary:
"To London for the Elan Sicroff performance at the Rudolf Steiner centre near Baker Street.
23.45 A well-attended performance, in an auditorium seating c. 200, by many of the usual culprits; Work Wrinklies included Vivien Elliot; some of my own generation; and a smattering of Crafties. Many characters with whom I would, usually, be very happy to natter & chatter, catching up with news & arisings. Performance of this evening's quality & intentionality is exceptionally rare, and I didn't want to spoil it with wittering. So, remaining focused & externally a-social.
A manifestation."
"He played like an angel.
It was intriguing to hear where de Hartmann came from, before his association with Gurdjieff - and where he went later - about which I knew nothing. And the Gurdjieff material stirred forgotten chambers of my heart. There was grace in it."

"Dearest Elan,
I MUST hear the deHartmann violin/piano piece again!!! WHEN???? It is such an outstanding piece of music, and you both are absolutely magnificent. I think often of your concert in Warwick.
So keep me posted about your busy, ever expanding, multi-national, schedule."
-Love to you Elan, Maggie
